One major item AFA Flight Attendants at other airlines have negotiated is a comprehensive commuter policy that benefits everyone. Below are some highlights Flight Attendants have achieved at other airlines and cannot be changed unless Flight Attendants agree to them. What comprehensive commuter procedure would you like to see in your first Delta contract?

IT'S OFFICIAL: Thanks to our organzing and advocacy—and Delta ALPA's collective bargainning, Delta management officially announced that the PSY commuting policy for  pilots will be applied to Flight Attendants, too. According to Allison's memo, "Effective immediately and through Dec. 31, 2021, IFS will also reinstate PSY commuting to provide you with travel to/from your base and home city on record."

Delta pilots collectively bargainned and we organized to create meanigful change for Delta Flight Attendants RIGHT NOW.

Delta recognized the need to provide pilots with positive space while commuting to work. In contrast, Delta chose to make only minor improvements to the existing Unable to Commute Policy for Flight Attendants facing equal challenges. A comprehensive commuter policy should include everyone.
HUGE news: Thanks to our solidarity and advocacy, Delta just announced that any PSY commuting policy applied to pilots will be applied to Flight Attendants, too.
Don’t forget: This Thursday, join Delta AFA Flight Attendants, AFA Flight Attendants from United, Alaska, and Envoy, and AFA International President Sara Nelson for a Video Town Hall to discuss efforts to achieve a comprehensive commuter policy at Delta.
Please report any issues you have while commuting in the form. Making known the commuting difficulties you and other fellow Delta Flight Attendants encounter is how, together, we can make commuting better for all of us!
