Delta recognized the need to provide pilots with positive space while commuting to work. In contrast, Delta chose to make only minor improvements to the existing Unable to Commute Policy for Flight Attendants facing equal challenges. A comprehensive commuter policy should include everyone.
HUGE news: Thanks to our solidarity and advocacy, Delta just announced that any PSY commuting policy applied to pilots will be applied to Flight Attendants, too.

The biggest flight attendant union in the U.S. on Friday said it is starting a membership drive at Delta Air Lines, the biggest U.S. airline with nonunionized cabin crews.

Delta has some 25,000 flight attendants, the company said this year.

Last Friday, AFA joined us to launch an official campaign to gain our Flight Attendant Union at Delta. We had an extraordinary rollout and the response across the system and industry was amazing. 

Flight Attendants came to the airport on their day off because they wanted to sign a card immediately. We are seeing extraordinary support from people who have never had a union or the chance to vote for one before.  

On Tuesday evening, November 5th, AFA-CWA conducted a Town Hall Conference Call to answer questions in real time from Delta Flight Attendants about our efforts to become full members with AFA. Listen to the archived version of the call below and sign up to get involved in the campaign
